| Tapawingo will be taking a winter hiatus this year, beginning Sunday, October 21. Full service will resume in mid-April 2008 when we will be celebrating our 25th year in business. Our talented Executive Chef Jeremy Kittelson is moving on to a new venue in a more urban area, yet to be announced. His creativity and energy will be missed greatly at Tapawingo. He gave much to Tapawingo and I am sure his cooking prowess will continue to rise on the national horizon. During the winter, we will be recruiting to replace all necessary staff positions. During this time, I will also be having knee surgery, and take some time to visit family and friends (After 7 years of designing Fords, and 33 years in the culinary world, some parts have to be re-furbished). In addition, I intend to compile a Tapawingo cookbook, that represents my style, and the talents of all those who have contributed to make the restaurant what it is today. E-mailings will continue keeping all the folks on our mailing list informed about news of Tapawingo. Thank you for your continuing patronage and loyalty for the past 24 years. We will be back for year 25 in April! |
