2008/2009 Cooking Classes at Tapawingo
NEW! Afternoon Cooking Classes
For those who enjoy cooking instruction, and cannot commit to our traditional 2-day class format, this is for you! This will be a fun and fast afternoon of preparing a complete 3-course dinner, that is still unique and special.
The class begins at 1 PM when students are offered a glass of wine while our professional chefs demonstrate some of the key techniques you will access during the hands-on cooking that immediately follows. As teams, we will create a seasonal appetizer, main course, and dessert, which we will serve with matching wine at 5:30 PM.
The total cost for the afternoon session, with wine is $120
All one-day classes are scheduled for Sunday afternoons, as follow

Two-Day Cooking Classes
Our two-day classes begin with lunch each day at 11 AM, proceeding to demonstrations, and then hands-on participation. We offer sections in savory dishes as well as pastries and breads. A one-hour, professionally guided wine tasting and discussion will precede supper.
The following day again starts with lunch and the hands-one preparation. In the course of two days you will have close guidance and the opportunity to learn all the steps of preparing, and presenting dishes in “the style of Tapawingo.” Late in the afternoon, hors d’oeuvres, that you created, will be offered with Champagne, followed by the Tapawingo dinner you have prepped and completed during the two days. We guarantee a fun, relaxing and rewarding time in these classes.
The fee for the two-day class is $390, inclusive of all wines and gratuities – the same fee have charged the past five years.
All two-day classes are scheduled for Sunday and Monday, as follow:
October 26/27, January 11/12, February 8/9, February 22/23, March 1/2.
March 15/16, April 19/20, May 3/4 |
